Journey For Hope Ministries started in 2008 as an outreach to children from the impoverished community who live along creek side.

In 2009, Kids International Ministries donated materials to build the rooftop as a ministry center to that neighborhood.  It started from 30 kids and by God's grace over 60 children are under taking care of the ministry.

Each night children come from a nearby community for devotions and dinner.  We are partnered with sponsors to send the children to school, provide clothes, medicine, etc.  The ministry also provides a safe home for children who are abandoned and abused (physically and emotionally).

My name is Myles.  I am the mother of 2 children.  I used to volunteer with another mission organizations that would feed families at dump sites and share the gospel with them.  In 2006, I asked God to show me the closest ministry that I could volunteer with. I then met Jeff Long and learned about Kids International Ministries (KIM).  I volunteered with the Children's Home before becoming a travel agent for KIM.

Then I felt God asking me to work with the kids closer to my own home.  I want to be a servant to the Lord, and I daily allow Him to guide me each step of the way.  I never anticipated this ministry, but by the Grace of God, I now have an influence on a large group of kids.

Journey For Hope is named because it exists to give hope to the kids who live by the creek side.  Hope means giving education, love, a future, food, shelter, etc. so that these children can become the people God created them to be.
